I’m K’Deshia “Kyky” Martin. I am a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor, in Oklahoma City. I have my Bachelors degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma and my Masters degree in Rehabilitaion Counseling from Langston University.
I began my career at a residential facility as a chemial dependency technician. I worked my way up the ladder from that position to Care Manager, Admissions Cooridnator, and then to Lead Therapist. I spent majority of my early years serving indigent women suffering from additiction wanting to reunify with their dependent children. I have spent the latter part of my career working with adults in an intensive/outpaitent setting. I have experience working with adults and elderly helping them adjust to the transitions of life. I believe in creating a safe, compassionate, and accountable space where you can exxplore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. My approach is very humanisitc and person-centered.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my fur baby, spending time with family, bowling, and playing guitar hero, which helps me stay grounded and inspired.
